SCAD X Harbor Picture - Week 1

In the first day, we had an orientation prior to take the class with Harbor Picture and were announced the prompt of this project, Luxe Item. I assigned to the team which consists of various talented people!

Among all luxe items we decided to focus on ring, specifically a snake-shaped one.

Storyboard - First pass

We had three different storyboards and tried to incorporate all of them in one piece. As a result, we had a concern because the project seemed little ambitious and missing some details of transition between the scenes.

Storyboard - Second pass

We tried to emphasize the journey of the ring in this story, since 2025 will be the year of the snake. We had a good amount of responsibilities in this project so we decided to make a previs based on this storyboard.

FX I am responsible for:

• Disintegration: dragon statue disintegrates to indicate the end of the dragon year.

• Vellum Simulation: leaves move by the falling ring
